Values
You can distill our Mission further in the following way: For the glory of God and the good of the Clemmons community, we desire to be a…
grace-centered
Transformation happens when we receive and experience the steadfast love of God shown to us in Jesus Christ. The good news of Jesus opens our hearts to understand both the depths of our sin and the overwhelming love God has for us. As Pastor Jack Miller once said: “Cheer up! You’re a worse sinner than you ever dared imagine, and you’re more loved than you ever dared hope.” At Village Presbyterian, will emphasize the gospel of Jesus in all that we do. (Psalm 107, 136; John 10:10; Rom. 8:1-11; Eph. 1:1–2:10).
relational
Our world leads to loneliness, isolation, and shame, but God’s grace brings us into his family where we are known and loved. In a grace-centered community, we can be honest about our sins and struggles and move toward one another in repentance and forgiveness. This is the bedrock for a flourishing community. Furthermore, a grace-centered community is outward focused, extending hospitality to those outside and inviting them in to the community. (Genesis 2:18; Leviticus 19:18; Acts 2:42-47; Gal. 6:2; James 5:16).
Presbyterian church
Jesus has been building his Church for thousands of years; we are grateful to be a part of this grand story! As such, every Christian church has roots somewhere. As a member of the Presbyterian Church in America, our roots are Presbyterian, which comes from the 16th century Protestant Reformation. Presbyterians emphasize the reading and preaching of the Bible, prayer, singing praises, the Sacraments, and Christian fellowship. We call these the “ordinary means of grace” because they are what God has given us to experience and grow in his grace. We are thankful for this rich legacy and thrilled to complement the other Christian churches in our community.
Beliefs: The PCA holds to the historic orthodox creeds we share with the global Christian Church (Apostles’, Nicene, & Athanasian), the Westminster Standards of the Protestant Reformation (Westminster Confession, Larger & Shorter Catechisms), and is governed by the PCA Book of Church Order.

on mission
The grace of God sends us out on mission! God calls us to love our neighbors and to make disciples. We will love our neighbors in “word” by sharing the hope we have in Jesus, and in “deed” by finding ways to extend mercy to those in need and caring for our town. We will follow the call of Jesus’ Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) by investing our time and talents in local and global missions. (Ex. 19:5–6; Jer. 29:4–11; Matt. 22:34-40, 28:19–20; Romans 10:10-17; 1 Thess. 4:9–12; 1 Pet. 2:9).
